Preparation and Ingredients

Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Using a paddle, mix on slow speed for 1 minute, then scrape down the bowl. Continue mixing for a further 2 minutes on slow speed until well combined. Deposit the batter into a paper-lined baking tin and bake at 160°C until baked through. Once baked, transfer to a wire rack and allow to cool completely before serving or decorating.
